Learning Opportunities

Continuing education and research have been a core commitment at IIDA since we were founded. The Northern California Chapter provides learning opportunities to help advance the knowledge and careers of design professionals through mentorship, specialized courses that are not available elsewhere, and events that help foster peer to peer relationships.

Professional Empowerment Program (PEP)

PEP connects design professionals through locally hosted networking and mentorship-focused events led by IIDA Northern California City Centers. These PEP Rallies create space for meaningful peer connection and professional conversation around licensure, career growth, and workplace culture.

Watch for an upcoming PEP Rally in your local City Center to get involved.

NCIDQ Exam Preparation

The IIDA NC chapter encourages certification, and helps members prepare for the NCIDQ exam by offering an intensive preparation seminar twice a year. Led by QPREP, the sessions offer practice tests, study materials, and invaluable support for the Practicum. The two day seminars are typically held Friday and Saturday in the Spring in San Francisco, and the Fall in Silicon Valley.

Stay tuned for more information on the next QPREP!
