There are many different ways to participate!
a longer-term, two-year commitment leading one of many chapter initiatives
TERM STARTS JULY 1ST
full year commitment, lead initiatives and help organize events at your city center
TERM STARTS JULY 1ST
3-6 month commitment for large chapter events, shorter 1-2 month duration for smaller city-center events
ONGOING, SEASONAL
don’t have much time but still want to get involved? no worries! you can be a day-of event warrior. we always need help with on-site logistics and coordination.
1-DAY DURATION, AS NEEDED

Climate Action Committee
IIDA Northern California recognizes that the effects of climate change severely impact the livelihood of present and future generations. We accept that the Interior Design Profession needs to be committed and accountable to creating positive change through our work. As advocates for healthy, sustainable, and equitable spaces, we challenge interior design professionals and industry partners to take an integral role in tackling climate change and restoring our communities and planet.
We are actively seeking engaged members for our Climate Action Committee. Join forces to ensure our chapter is leading this cause.
Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Committee
The IIDA NC EDI Committee is devoted to IIDA’s commitment to the sustained, intentional, and organized dismantling of racism in all of its forms and instances. Our EDI Committee strives to nourish, train and uplift all those that add to the culture of the IIDA through progressive values that are correctly acknowledging the need for justice for all in our industry and in our communities.
