About the Project
To design a space for a company that shapes culture is to build on a legacy in continuous motion. The Azoff Company sought to create a 12,100 sq ft corporate entertainment space within the same stack as its headquarters to help extend its legacy in music, culture and storytelling. The objective was to design a hospitality-driven space that feels timeless, personal and deeply connected to the rhythm of their business, supporting everything from intimate listening sessions to high-profile industry events. The experience needed to balance comfort, discretion, atmosphere and technical performance while preserving a sense of Southern California ease.
The design program centres on connection over convention. A cinematic vestibule sets the tone, transitioning guests from a standard tower corridor into a world of warmth and intention. Inside, a sequence of purpose-built spaces, including a listening lounge, private dining room, central bar, conference rooms and a large indoor–outdoor terrace, creates a flexible platform for gatherings of all kinds. Each setting is crafted for conversation, immersion and relationship-building.
Significant constraints, including full-floor seismic joints, low structural heights and an existing parking-deck façade, became defining design features through custom millwork, coffered ceiling volumes, integrated acoustics and a bold façade opening that links interior and terrace. These solutions elevated technical challenges into architectural character.
Today, the space hums with activity and is heavily booked for events and gatherings. Its success comes from the creative design thinking that went into it, leveraging hospitality and purposeful moments. The space amplifies identity, nurtures relationships and creates an environment where people feel cared for, welcomed and inspired. It’s a stage for all participants to experience the stories told within it. It is, in every sense, an evolution of who the company is and an invitation to step inside the world they have built.
