2020 was perhaps the most challenging year of our lives as members of our design community.
For all the things that did not go as planned (to say the least), what were your interactions with other people that actually were a great source of pride and accomplishment?
This one-time award is for anything your firm did to: help your community, keep your spirits up, keep the open sign on your door, absolutely anything! Creativity takes many forms in addition to what we do to create great working and living environments. So, this award is not necessarily about any interiors project you designed. It might be a food back in which you were involved. Or a clever way you kept your staff’s spirits up through the shutdown. Maybe even volunteering to help ease the loneliness that many people are experiencing right now. If it touches on anything acknowledging our common humanity, then it qualifies.
Please include any partners with whom you were involved. Also, the reactions you got from the people who benefitted from this. For this award, any accompanying pictures can be rather informal as they essentially capture the positive feeling from your endeavors.
Entries in this category can be totally separate from anything else you may enter in the Honor Awards this year.
We know that lemons are a great source of Vitamin C. Only in this case, we think that C stands for Caring.
The Lemonade Award submission is now closed!
