SF Pride Parade

This year, the San Francisco City Center’s Pride Committee is organizing to march together as LGBTQ+ folks, friends, and allies to represent our vibrant design community in the San Francisco Pride Parade on June 30th, and we want YOU to join us!

Today is the Day!

Event Schedule

    • 11AM | T-shirt pick up at Maven (923 Harrison St)

    • 12–2PM | Pre-party at Andreu World Showroom (85 2nd St)

    • 2–4PM | PARADE (meet at Folsom and Beale)

    • 4–7PM | After-party back at Maven

The after-party will feature our very own Kelly Toole, East Bay City Center Director, spinning the beats from the DJ booth. There will also be an amazing Taco Bar spread from Tacolicious to satisfy your cravings after the parade.

Pride is all about celebrating diversity, spreading love, and showing our support for the LGBTQ+ community. Plus, marching together is a fantastic way to raise awareness of our fabulous community and our members’ incredible work in the design world.

Participants will receive a tee shirt and a fan for the parade. IIDA members will march for free, and non-members will be requested to pay $24 to cover the tee shirt and fan cost. All are welcome, including friends & family. Please register for all those attending (members and all) so we know who is participating.

The parade starts at 10:30 a.m., and we will meet beforehand for some pre-parade festivities (Shirt & Fan Pick-up and a little pre-game action). We are also planning an awesome After-Parade Pride Party to cap off the festivities immediately following the parade. More details to come.

‌So, what do you say? Ready to march, dance, and spread some love? Reach out to Paul Mabe-Fogg or Damien Watson with any questions, and let’s make this Pride Parade one to remember!
