The East Bay City Center’s 9th annual Design in Motion gala is proud to honor and continue our partnership with Larkin Street Youth Services at the beautiful Berkeley City Club.
Please join us for food, friends, and an art auction — art pieces will be created by our design community and all proceeds will be donated to Larkin Street Youth Services.

Larkin Street Youth Services
Larkin Street is a remarkable resource that has impacted the lives of more than 75,000 youth in our region since it was founded in 1984. In 2023, Larkin Street plans to increase their support for East Bay youth from monthly housing assistance to a full-time, youth housing and drop-in facility. Thanks to our Design in Motion event last year and the work of the East Bay Design Community, Larkin Street was able to begin work on this ambitious and important endeavor. In order to bring this shelter for the East Bay’s youth to fruition, we will need ALL of us to come together and support this noble mission.
