Grace Manuel

Lead Sustainability Specialist

Haworth

As part of Haworth’s global sustainability team, Grace leads efforts on Haworth’s global sustainability team in sustainability governance including disclosure and transparency, stakeholder engagement, business resilience and advanced material development.  Grace has a Master’s Degree in Interior Architecture and Industrial Design from Kansas State University, a LFA through ILFI, a Sustainability Certification through UCLA and is a GRI Certified Sustainability Professional. She uses creative problem solving, strategic innovation and cross functional collaboration to create impact and promote responsible business. Grace has taught at Kansas State University, University of Minnesota and is a currently a lecturer in the Interior Design Department at University of Nebraska at Lincoln – providing industry perspective to undergraduate students in design.  Grace has also done guest lectures at University of Oregon and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) on Circular Design. She was part of the LEED v5 Design and Construction Consensus Committee, a BIFMA Faculty helping develop new CEUs, and is a member of the Illinois Green Alliance. All these efforts contribute to industry transformation across design and sustainability.

Dave Charne is CEO and Co-Founder of Fyrn, an SF based furniture design and manufacturing company that’s advancing the tradition of American furniture by marrying heritage craftsmanship with modern manufacturing. Embodying a systems approach to design, and enabled by proprietary hardware, Fyrn produces high-quality commercial + residential furniture at scale, while taking responsibility for the full lifecycle of the pieces.

Priyanka Jinsiwale is a Sustainability Manager with a background in architecture, sustainable urban planning, and green building consulting. At BCCI Construction, a general contractor specializing in commercial interiors, she leads sustainability initiatives with a focus on circularity—driving strategies for material salvage & reuse, waste reduction, and healthier products. Her work spans achieving green building certifications, advancing operational best practices, and driving alignment between client goals and broader sustainability and wellness outcomes. With a multidisciplinary background, Priyanka is passionate about bridging design, construction, and operations to advance circular practices in the built environment.
