An exceptional communicator, innovator, and visionary leader, Cheryl S. Durst has spurred progress, driven change, and encouraged the expansion of the interior design industry. As Executive Vice President and CEO of IIDA, she is committed to elevating the value of design and its role in society.
Leading 15,000 members across 58 countries, Cheryl sets the strategic direction for advocacy, equity, and professional community. She serves on the International WELL Building Institute Governance Council and is a Trustee of the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago and NYSID. Named a “visionary strategist” by Interior Design magazine, she was inducted into the Interior Design Hall of Fame in 2016.
Eleanor Pries

Eleanor Pries, Assoc. AIA, LEED ND, is the Program Director of Interior Design and an Assistant Professor at San José State University, where she leads courses in interior architecture, thesis, lighting design, and exhibition design. Her research explores environmental materials and digital fabrication.
Eleanor also leads Giant Order, a design office focused on strategy. Previously, she practiced as a Principal at SITELAB urban studio and Project Manager at SMWM / Perkins & Will. She holds degrees from Harvard University, the University of Virginia, and UC Berkeley, with multidisciplinary training in architecture, landscape, and urban planning.

Sarah Brown is a Director in TP Bennett’s Interiors team and is involved in all stages of the design process. From developing project briefs and concept designs through detailed design and delivery, she brings energy and dedication to every project.
With extensive commercial workplace experience across the United States, Sarah has worked with a diverse portfolio of high-profile, international clients, including Goldman Sachs, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, Hogan Lovells, Charlotte Tilbury, and Citi. Her collaborative approach, strong project management skills, and commitment to human-centered design make her a trusted leader on client projects.
