Celebrating Pride with IIDA NorCal at SF Pride 2024
On June 18, 2024, our community came together to march in San Francisco Pride—bringing color, creativity, and inclusivity to Market Street.
On June 18, 2024, IIDA Northern California proudly joined SF Pride in a celebration that embodied community, creativity, and inclusion. Just weeks later, we’re still energized by the experience and grateful for the overwhelming support from our members and friends.
More than 100 participants from across our City Centers came together to march down Market Street, filling San Francisco with color, joy, and solidarity. Custom-designed t-shirts, bold signage, and plenty of sparkle turned our group into a moving expression of what design and diversity look like when they come together.
Highlights from the day included:
- A strong showing from members across the region, uniting under one banner of pride and visibility
- Signage and shirts that sparked conversations and showcased the creativity of our community
- The powerful sense of connection as we marched side by side with so many allies and advocates
Thank you to every volunteer, marcher, and supporter who helped make this year’s Pride Parade such a success. Your energy and advocacy made this more than just a parade—it was a statement that design is at its best when everyone has a place in it.
