Maybo AuYeung is a dedicated advocate for environmental sustainability and zero waste programs. With over a decade of experience, Maybo has been instrumental in driving change towards a more sustainable future. Currently serving as the Environmental Program Manager – Zero Waste for the City of Palo Alto, Maybo oversees significant initiatives, including the implementation of Palo Alto’s Deconstruction & Construction Materials Management Ordinance and managing contracts worth over $24 million for waste collection and processing. Maybo is also a respected speaker and has presented at various conferences, sharing insights on sustainability and resource management. Their passion and expertise continue to inspire positive change in the community.
Keely Bosler
Public Affairs Consultant
Keely Martin Bosler, a 22-year veteran of California state government, served as the Director of the California Department of Finance from 2018 to 2022. Leading budget development for the world’s fourth-largest economy, she navigated challenging fiscal cycles, including the pandemic, wildfires, and recession, building historic reserves, reducing pension liabilities, and securing financial relief for Californians. As Governor Brown’s Cabinet Secretary for over two years and with a decade of legislative experience, Keely offers strategic expertise in public affairs through her consulting practice, KeelyMB Strategies, specializing in California state government, public policy, and finance.
James Slattery
City of SF, Environment
James Slattery is the Construction and Demolition (C&D) Zero Waste Coordinator at San Francisco’s Department of the Environment. In this capacity, James is responsible for regulatory oversight of 15 mixed debris processing facilities, 350+ debris haulers, and more than 30,000 permitted construction activities that generate approximately 1.5 million tons of debris each year. James’ work focuses on resource conservation, debris reduction & material recovery strategies, and environmental action in solid waste management. James has worked with the Department of the Environment for the past decade and is excited to share San Francisco’s journey toward Zero Waste.
