Event Recap
This year, SFCC took a more tailored approach to our annual Advocacy conversation. Our local interior design community enjoyed an evening of captivating conversation at our Advocacy & Dialogue event held at Gensler February. The event brought together industry professionals to discuss the past, present, and future of advocacy efforts in commercial interior design. An interactive workshop provided a fun and exciting way to learn how we, as design professionals, can help to elevate the profession. The group dialogue was very informative and intimate with breakout sessions to discuss the topics further and share personal experiences related to interior design, how we speak about it, current laws and practices, and the things we’re seeking to change. As we look to the future of Interior Design, the industry must rally together to advocate for the collective! We look forward to seeing you again next year and sharing the 2023 updates!
We are ever-thankful for our fearless leaders at IIDA Northern California, Laura Taylor and Adam Newton, for continuously advocating on local and state levels.
