Last Saturday morning in beautiful Napa Valley, design professionals were treated to a tour of Gordon Heuther’s Gallery and Studio.
Following a champagne mini-brunch, Gordon and Darcy shared examples of his fine art and public art installations, including his work with the Salt Lake City Airport. Our group learned about the process involved in the design and execution of large scale public and private art commissions. Gordon Huether’s projects have included art installations for private corporations, airports, transportation centers, parking garages, hotels, universities, hospitals, recreation centers, civic buildings, libraries, and museums. He has experimented with glass, steel, salvaged materials and found objects in his fine art.
The North Bay City Center was delighted to welcome professional, industry and student members from three other City Centers for a true Chapter-wide event.
