Design Firm: Gensler
Stitch Fix, a personal style service for men and women, quickly outgrew their 30,000 square foot incubator space in San Francisco, it was time to relocate. They hired the design team to develop a collective vision for their space, a new 100,000 square foot space that fosters inspired communities in a bright, effortless, and stylish office environment.
The design solution provides a workplace experience that captures the artistry, intelligence, and camaraderie of Stitch Fix. Their leadership requested a space that was not too serious and would feel energized by the Stitch Fix client experience. They also sought a design that would encourage their employees to be their best selves in order to deliver truly personal service to their clients.
The final design reinforces the Stitch Fix brand upon entry, welcoming visitors at the reception area Post-Office Café. The overall office landscape consists of a combination of flexible work spaces for both collaborative and focus type work. Inspired, enduring sample storage solutions are seamlessly incorporated into the overall workplace design. One key component of the project is the All Hands Space, which serves as the cultural hub for the organization. The design of the All Hands Space makes the best use of valuable real estate while encouraging flexibility to accommodate monthly all staff meetings and ongoing weekly training sessions.VOTE HERE
