Tom DiRenzo has been professionally and personally committed to the design community for over 30 years. Prior to joining CRI, a Herman Miller dealership, in 1996 as A&D Director, he worked for Deepa Textiles and Knoll. Tom was a founding committee member of the IIDA Northern California Honor Awards and is still on the committee 13 years later. He has been the ‘face’ of Honors having hosted the event numerous times. He has a degree in Journalism from Temple University which he still finds invaluable in his ongoing quest to interview every person he meets. Tom’s good deeds have extended to volunteering with the San Francisco Suicide Prevention Center, fund raising for SF AIDS Foundation and participating in SF Library’s Adult Literacy Program. He is the 2015 recipient of the Distinguished Achievement Award at our chapter’s Leadership Breakfast.
